What are vegetables?

Vegetables are part of plants that humans or other animals eat as food.  The original meaning is still commonly used and is applied collectively to plants for all edible plant substances, including flowers, fruits,stems,leaves,roots and seeds.  Includes delicious fruits like coriander, broccoli like flowers and seeds like pulses


The benefits of vegetables

  1. Fight inflammation


   Excessive chronic inflammation is not good for our body.  Vegetables help you prevent inflammation.  They are rich in antioxidants and phytochemicals to help your body.

2. Improve blood pressure


  According to the CDC, about half of Americans have high blood pressure.  Eating more potassium-rich foods can help reduce the damage to high-sodium foods.  Vegetables like beets and spinach provide potassium (among other nutrients) and the fiber found in vegetables also helps your heart.

3.Your fiber up



  Most of us don’t hit our recommended fiber intake (which is 38 g / day for men and 25 g / day for women).  Eating high-fiber foods such as whole grains, fruits, lemons, nuts, and yes, vegetables can help you get enough of these basic nutrients.  Fiber is great for your heart and intestines, but can keep you full and reduce your risk of developing diabetes.  All vegetables contain fiber, so make different choices to get your fill.
